Contemporary Worship Awake, my soul!

Begining Sunday, June 17th Contemporary Worship will be offered at 9:00am in the Social Hall
St. Paul offers a weekly contemporary worship service titled "Awakening" Sundays at 9am. The service is held in our Social Hall. Each service runs 45 minutes and includes Praise and Worship style music, Scripture, Prayer, a Short Message, and Holy Communion all in a casual atmosphere.
About the Band:
 In the Fall of 2009 musicians from St Paul UMC came together to form a praise team to lead the “Awakening” contemporary praise and worship service. The “Raise the Praise” band features two female & one male vocalists, who are accompanied by four guitarists, and one bassist. Their play list includes covers of current songs you might hear on the contemporary Christian radio during your daily commute and a limited collection of original numbers written by Chris Werle who plays lead and rhythm on the electric guitar.
